Design Wars 5 - Just for fun!

Since early September I and 9 other wonderful crochet designers have been busily plotting our Design Wars 5 submissions. I can't believe how the time is flown!

During this time I have gotten to know 9 wonderful people who have been kind, helpful and fun to work with. Now there are just 2 more days to vote for your favorite design.  I can't believe it.  Speaking of voting for your favorite design . . . introducing the Inline Pullover!

The Crochet Project

Issue #2 of the Crochet Project is out now and it's gorgeous!  Kat Goldin and Joanne Scrace, the founders of TCP have put together a stunning, high production value online digital crochet magazine.  With Kat behind the lens and Joanne perfecting the patterns, this duo have created something incredibly special not often seen in the crochet world.  I consider myself very lucky to have one of my patterns selected for the second issue. Introducing the Scavenger Hunt Dress.

This peasant style dress is a super simple, seamless, top down design that whips up in no time.  It's a perfect layering piece for chilly fall and winter days.  The dress is worked in the grit stitch, which gives it a great retro chevron look.  So go out and get yourself some scrumptious yarn and get hooking!  Pattern available at TCP and on Rav.
