Free Crochet Scarf Pattern - My IKEA Catalog Scarf

Every single nook and cranny in my entire house has something IKEA related in it; my chairs, kitchen cabinets, rugs, beds, bathroom mirrors, are all IKEA.  I also consider reading their catalog a serious hobby. So when I saw page 68 in the 2014 catalog, I said, "hey, I can make that!" And I did. And now I wear it. And now my neck has IKEA all over it too!

Thanks to my mom for buying me some super awesome organic cotton yarn, I love it!  Now I just need me some Swedish clogs, a fab bike with a pretty basket, and tons of tulips.  Enjoy the pattern!

This pattern is written using standard U.S. Crochet terms and assumes basic stitch knowledge. If you have any questions or get stuck, please email me with your questions: ballhanknskein@gmail.com. I’m always here to help!

Crochet Hat Pattern and Kit

Hello blog land!  I've missed you.  I write today to introduce the Sweetheart Slouchy Hat crochet pattern available on Etsy or Ravelry.  Super cute slouchy pattern with hearts and a pom pom and fair isle details. What more could a girl ask for?

My exciting news is that I am now offering a kit for this pattern!  With the kit, you receive the pattern in 3 sizes, 2.5 ounces of main color yarn and .5 ounces of contrasting color yarn in your choice of red, cream or light grey, which is enough yarn to complete the largest size with plenty of extra.  The yarn is Galler Yarns Prime Alpaca which is just so soft and squishy and wonderful.  It is hypoallergenic because alpaca wool does not contain lanolin, making it a perfect natural choice for babies and those with lambs wool allergies.

Kit available on Etsy

I'm working on a second hat kit as we speak!  I'll be in touch soon and keep you posted with all the details.
